The Danish Academy in Rome publishes a number of publications and books within the academy's main research areas: humanistic studies (ancient history, archaeology, philology, history, art history, literature, etc.), architecture, visual arts and musicology.

Analecta Romana Instituti Danici (ARID)
The Academy's international, peer-reviewed journal has been published since 1960 in both e-journal and paper format. Here you will find the latest research in ancient history, archaeology, philology, art history and more, in English, Italian, French and German.

ARID Supplementum (ARIDS)
The monographic supplement series to ARID was first published in 1960. The series contains doctoral theses, seminar papers and monographs within the Academy's broad humanities and art history field. All interested researchers can submit manuscripts - affiliation with the academy is not a requirement.

Occasional Papers of the Nordic Institutes in Rome (OPNIR)
Since 1997, the Nordic institutes in Rome have been publishing research results from joint excavation projects (Temple of Castor & Pollux, Ficana, Nemi and others). The series documents the Nordic contribution to archaeology and ancient history in Italy.
